If I were planning a walk through San Marcos, I would leave room for Trapi Space. The bookshop is at Junín and Almeida and brings together new and previously read books and literary accessories. I like the possibility of leaving a walk with a book I did not yet know I wanted to find.
A Mundo Diners article says that Camila Uquillas opened the space in 2026 with the aim of bringing together different genres. That would encourage me to arrive with a flexible reading list. I would ask for a recommendation and spend a few minutes discovering an author or an edition that caught my interest.
My invitation would be to give the bookshop more than a passing glance. I would start with a title, read a few pages if possible and let that first encounter with a book guide my next choice.
